FULLMOON for your EYES

You would have noticed some times, who is higher in number among your nearby society? It is either blind people or Specs wearing people. Obviously, it is the second one.

Number of specs wearing children in school is increasing every year. On the other hand, Number of new smart phones and versions are updating every year. However, smart phones are double-edged sword but we need smart phones in the present world with the limited usage for its unlimited boons.

Let me cover this blog with five protective and preventive measures for your healthy powerful eyes.

First and foremost thing you can do for your healthy eyes is brushing your teeth properly. If possible, do brushing with tree sticks of Neem like ancient times for its double benefits. Brush from your left side to right side, then do tongue cleaning and wash your mouth for 12 times with water after brushing.
Cleansing your mouth is the very first way to cleanse your eyes.

Next thing is moon glasses. Does Sound new among sunglasses? How many of you know that moon is a vast preventive natural spec for everybody with power adjustments every day? Yes, do watch moon with your glasses removed and view through the specs of moon.

One of the beautiful and highly beneficial relaxation method is moon watching, also a piece of cake.
After you finished dinner, instill three drops of water in your each eye, cleanse your eyes by gentle rub and go to your open terrace or open spaced area, watch the beautiful moon by having a walk. Do not watch through your glass window closed. Feel the breeze of moisture air in soothing fresh moon light.

Observe nature, feel its beauty and you will feel cooling effect on your eyes, and body, mind will be refreshed.

According to siddha system of medicine, watching moon (Chandra dharisanam) on the days of clear sky for one kadigai neram (24 minutes) through palagani (through your fingers folds ) is highly beneficial and it is one among protective measures for your healthy eyes. Wash your eyes after your Chandra dharisanam like before.

In addition, during your moonwalk, think about positive solutions to your questions and double your positive vibes. This will help you to take a clear decision with clear eyes. Your energy on the day of full moon will be doubled. So double it in positive ways.

But Chandra dharisanam is not in case of lunar eclipse days.

Keep your mobiles aside and feel moon for half an hour. Allow your kids to play in the full moon-day (pournami) lights. Have a dinner in moon light with full laughter talks and double your happiness with your family. This is what the Real happiness is.

Third one, you can do is applying kajal to your eyes, once in three days. I meant pure natural kajals not chemical, smudge free kajals.

Fourth, do oil bath weekly twice regularly because Eyes are organs of fire bhoodham among five bhoodams. Oil bath increases the power of organ of fire. You can read about oil bath in my previous blog, about which I shared a lot earlier.

Last thing you can do is diet. Add greens like ponnangani keerai (Alternethra sessilis), Sirukeerai , pannai keerai in your afternoon meals.  Eat milk rice, or drink cow’s milk during nighttime. Add ghee daily twice in your diet.

Usually, we get common advises like take greens for healthy eyes but we don’t follow the other four ways. Do follow above-mentioned five habits along with your healthy diet for fruitful benefits to your eyes.

Whatever I said above, from siddha texts are highly useful and extremely free from our mother nature. Consultation with an ophthalmologist may be expensive but consulting with moon and prophylactic measures from natural source is pure, easy, free, healthy, preventive, and protective.

Do follow these and Spend little time with Moon after your dinner rather than with technologies. So, do not underestimate the power of nature! Stop bending your neck to use mobile, keep your head rise to sky high and feel the lovely moon with little changes in your habits!
